Summary Mindfulness

In a eight week Mindfulness course you develop new ways to respond to challenges that life presents. It combines meditation, mindful breathing, bodyscan and mindful movement to help cope with stress, pain, illness and challenging situations by using moment-to-moment awareness.

Mindfulness practice is cultivating greater awareness of the unity of mind and body. The course is based upon the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) training developed by Jon Kabat Zinn (1944) Ph.D. in molecular biology.

  • Face illness and pain with greater confidence
